On Nov. 1,  a group of Keene residents presented a resolution to City Council asking that the city set a course to reach 100 percent renewable electricity by 2030 and 100 percent of all energy needs by 2050. A number of people attended the meeting, wearing green to show their support of the resolution. The room was packed with supporters.

Within a few days, the City’s Energy & Climate Advisory Committee unanimously supported the resolution.

The City Council is now inviting comments from Keene residents at its Municipal Services, Facilities, and Infrastructure Committee meeting on Nov. 28 at 6 p.m.
