What motivated you to install solar?
I just think it’s smart for the world and, in the end, smart for me.
How many panels do you have, and if you know, how much energy are you producing, percentage of your electric usage?
15. In March we produced 480 kW. I’m not sure how much since March because my solar edge app isn’t working, it covers 100% of my electricity
What has been the biggest benefit so far? What are you excited about?
It’s great to have the solar system pay the electric bill. Also I switched to a hot water heat pump so now it powers that and has lessened my oil bill.
What were the obstacles to installing solar and what did you do to overcome them?
Mostly hard decisions such as which roof to put it on, can I trust the company, are they giving a reasonable price, is it worth it financially?
What advice do you have for people considering installing solar?
The sooner the better due to rebates and tax incentives.
