1. Backup power through battery storage; 2. Reduce carbon footprint
How many panels do you have, and if you know, how much energy are you producing, percentage of your electric usage?
15 panels. In one year, the panels have produced 7.5 MWh, which is about 102% of my use over the period. The house is a net exports for 2020-21
What has been the biggest benefit so far? What are you excited about?
Reduction in carbon footprint of the house despite adding one room and electric cooling in the summer
What were the obstacles to installing solar and what did you do to overcome them?
None; the vendor address all technical questions in a professional manner
What advice do you have for people considering installing solar?
The time is right to go for it if it is financially feasible.
