What motivated you to install solar?
Installing solar is core to the company’s mission. We want to reduce our use of fossil fuels and reduce our environmental impact both in our operations and in the homes and buildings that we build.
How many panels do you have, and if you know, how much energy are you producing, percentage of your electric usage?
We produce 258 kW, which is 70% of our energy use.
What has been the biggest benefit so far? What are you excited about?
It is another step towards sustainable and clean technology for our homes and our operations.
What were the obstacles to installing solar and what did you do to overcome them?
Financial cost is a factor. We were able to use part of a grant and we also did the installation in phases.
